Description
The life of William Plumer and his participation in the American political scene for 40 years. Some of his achievements include his advocacy of the Federal Constitution in 1788, his drafting of revisions in the New Hampshire constitution in 1791-92 which created the form of government under which the state still operates. As a Republican, he was elected governor of New Hampshire in 1812.
